This article presents a concept for the aesthetic interim restoration of implants
using individual abutments in case of inappropriate position of the implant axis concerning
incisal edge. These customised provisional abutments with adequate emergence profile
are recommended to initiate the soft tissue support in the anterior maxilla. Indications
and procedure of individual provisional abutments are demonstrated.
